Sylviya Todorova

Silvia Todorova

Silviya Todorova is an industrial property representative in the field of patents, trade marks, geographical indications and designs to the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria. Sylvia has 14 years of experience in the protection of industrial property rights . She is a member of the "International Trade Marks Association" ( INTA), USA, ECTA, AIPPI and ATRIP. Since March 2015 she is a lecturer in the "Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer" department at UNWE, and from 2022 she also lectures at the Sofia University. She is fluent in English and has limited working proficiency in Spanish.

Nikolay Shopov

Nikolay Shopov graduated in 1995 from the Bulgarian Academy of MIA . In 2006 he was registered as a lawyer in the Smolyan Bar Association. He has many years of experience in the field of commercial law, investments, tax and administrative law, judicial and administrative procedures. From 2009 he is a managing partner at "Shopov and Yankov" Law Firm. He works fluently in Russian and English.

Martin Yankov graduated Master of Laws in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", in 2005. In 2008. he was registered as a lawyer in the Sofia Bar Association. He has many years of experience in the field of contract, commercial, labor and property law, litigation representation, arbitration, procurement, trade marks. Since 2009. he is a managing partner at "Shopov and Yankov" Law Firm. He speaks English fluently. He has written numerous publications in the field of law on various legal cases.

Nikolay Ganchev

Nikolay Ganchev completed his intellectual property education at UNWE. He is an expert with many years of experience in the field of intellectual property with more than 10 years of experience in the public and private sectors. During his practice as an expert, he participated in numerous seminars and working groups of the Bulgarian patent office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO). She is fluent in English.

Luchia Bobekova

Luchia Bobekova has obtained a Bachelor's degree in "Intellectual Property and Business" at UNWE. After her studies, she has done a one-year Traineeship at the "European Union Intellectual Property Office" in the Operations Department as a Trade Mark Opposition examiner, where she has been fortunate to work alongside professionals and has gained an extensive experience in the field. During this period, she has enriched her IP knowledge , by attending various conferences, practical courses and webinars. Luchia has joined our team in 2022 as an – Intellectual Property expert. In October 2023, she has received a master's degree in "Data Protection" from the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies. She is fluent in English and has limited working proficiency in Spanish.

Vladislava Pacheva

Vladislava Pacheva obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in "Intellectual Property" at UNWE, and through 2021 she also acquired a PhD. She is an industrial property representative in the field of trade marks, geographical indications and industrial designs. Vladislava has over 14 years of experience in the field of industrial property and more specifically in procedures for patenting inventions and registering utility models, trade marks and industrial designs of national, European and international level. From 2018 she is a lecturer in the “Intellectual property and technology transfer” department in UNWE. She is also a member of “The International Trademark Association”. She is fluent in English.

Eleonora Ivanova graduated with a bachelor's degree in "Intellectual Property and Business" and a master's degree in "Intellectual Property and Creative Industries". She continues her studies in ONS "Doctor" at the "Intellectual Property and Technological Transfer" Department at the UNWE. She has undergone certified training at the World Intellectual Property Organization on "Trade marks, industrial designs and geographical indications', as well as "Intellectual Property Management". Author and co-author in articles and publications, exploring current issues in the field of intellectual property. In 2022 she joins the team in the position "Intellectual property expert". She is fluent in English.

Valya Babaleva

Eng. Valya Babaleva has many years of experience as a representative for
industrial property in the field of patents and utility models. She has obtained
her education
at the Technical University of Sofia as an electronics and automation engineer . She works more than 10 years in the Bulgarian Patent
Office as an expert in the department of examination of inventions and utility models,
as in 2013 she becomes Director of the Inventions Directorate, utility models and industrial designs', and through 2014 she is
elected for deputy chairman of the Patent Office. She is fluent in English and Russian.
